Sonar Type
Words drift in towards your hull from the edge of a sonar scope. Type one to lock on; finish it to destroy it. The sweep shows what's out there, and some contacts only show up when it passes.
Every run banks salvage to spend in the Dry Dock on hulls, weapon variants and cosmetics. The Logbook keeps your speed and accuracy over time, and which letters slow you down.
One of the niche apps I design and play-test; AI writes the code.

Needs a physical keyboard, so it won't play on a phone. Sound starts with your first key press.
How it plays
- Sector
- Three waves, then a leviathan built of stacked words. Clear it for a medal.
- Patrol
- Endless. The threat keeps climbing until the hull gives out.
- Expedition
- A chart of four legs (calm water, storms, wrecks), ending in a lair.
- Drill
- Ninety seconds of practice, words weighted towards your weakest letters. No damage.
Deeper sectors bring armoured words you type twice, reversed ones you type backwards, exact-case words, silent contacts, mines, decoys and words that split in two. The pause screen draws every kind.
